Know your margin. Set your ad limits.
Calculate break-even ACOS, affordable CPC and estimated profit per ad order from your price, unit costs and conversion rate. Set a profit target and export CSV / TXT.
Enter costs per item. Blank costs other than product cost are treated as zero.
Use one currency for all amounts. Switching changes display units only.
Advertising inputs
Ad-attributed orders ÷ ad clicks × 100. Enter 10 for 10%.
Enter current CPC to estimate profit after ads, or a profit target to calculate its CPC limit.

Target profit exceeds contribution before ads and cannot be reached at this price and cost.
“—” means a required optional input is missing or the metric is undefined. Money displays up to 4 decimal places; calculations use unrounded values.
Keep your inputs on the same basis
The model assumes one item per ad-attributed order and one currency for all amounts. Profit after ads deducts only the costs you enter; include allocated returns, taxes and other relevant costs yourself. Use ad orders and clicks from the same reporting period for CVR. Results compare modeled assumptions rather than promise actual advertising returns.
Turn contribution into an ad budget
- Contribution before ads
- Price − product cost − freight − fulfillment − commission − other costs
- Break-even ACOS
- Contribution before ads ÷ price × 100%
- Break-even CPC
- Contribution before ads × CVR as a decimal
- Estimated ad cost per order
- Current CPC ÷ CVR as a decimal
- Target CPC limit
- (Contribution before ads − target profit) × CVR as a decimal
Good to know
How are ACOS and ROAS related?+
ACOS is ad spend divided by ad-attributed revenue, expressed as a percentage. ROAS is ad-attributed revenue divided by ad spend. An ACOS of 20% corresponds to a ROAS of 5.
Can I enter commission as an amount?+
Yes. Choose a percentage of price or a fixed amount, using your actual applicable fee. Allocate other costs per item.
What happens at zero CVR or zero CPC?+
At zero CVR, there are no modeled converted orders, so per-order ad cost and profit show “—”. At zero CPC with positive CVR, modeled ad cost is zero and ROAS shows “—” because ad spend is its denominator.
How does target profit affect the CPC limit?+
A higher target leaves less contribution for ads. A target equal to contribution before ads leaves a zero CPC limit; a higher target is flagged as unattainable under the current inputs.
Are inputs saved?+
Calculations run in your browser without uploading or automatically saving inputs. Copy results or download CSV / TXT to keep your assumptions and outputs.
